Office Adminstrative Assistant required for Naas, Sallins & Two Mile House Parishes

Background

The parishes of Naas, Sallins and Two-Mile-House, while separate in structure, are served by the one parish team, with the single aim of building up believing and caring communities. Each parish has its own Pastoral Council and Finance committee. Naas Parish campus encompasses two churches: Our Lady and St. David’s in the town centre, and the Church of the Irish Martyrs in Ballycane, which also houses a very active social centre offering rooms and spaces for parish related activities, meetings and other faith formation opportunities. A parish office, a Veritas bookshop and two further meeting rooms are situated on the Sallins Road opposite the Church of Our Lady and St. David. Education is provided at primary level through nine schools, six of which are under Diocesan patronage, and at second level through five post primary schools, four of which are guided by a Catholic ethos. Over the last 20 years all three of our parishes have expanded rapidly and now with a total combined population of approximately 30,000 as people from all corners of the country and world choose to make their home here.
