The reason why the above appointments are necessary are obviously because of the sudden and unexpected death of Fr PJ whom we miss deeply and remember fondly. The above appointments will take effect from Saturday May 28th, 2016. I thank Fr Paul O’Boyle who has been administering Kilcock & Newtown in the interim since Fr PJs death.
I wish every blessing to Fr John on his appointment to Kilcock & Newtown where his huge experience coming from his nineteen years in Naas will be of great benefit to the people in his new parish.
I am also delighted to wish Fr Liam every blessing in his new role as Parish Priest in one of the largest parishes in the diocese.
