Relic of St. Faustina – Edenderry Nov 20th

Last year a first class Relic of St. Faustina was requested by the Divine Mercy prayer group in Edenderry Parish, with the approval of Bishop Denis Nulty.  The Mother General of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Krakow, Poland, has granted our request for the transfer of the 1st class Relic of St. Faustina for public worship in St. Mary’s Church.  It will be an honour and a privilege to invite this Relic, in this year of Mercy, to our Church, to deepen the devotion to the Divine Mercy among our parishioners.

On Sunday 20th November, the 12 o’clock Mass will be a special Mass of Welcome for the Relic of St. Faustina.  Sister Mary-Claire, from Ireland, and a member of the Sisters of our Lady of Mercy in Krakow, Poland will attend and speak at the Mass of Welcome.  At the end of the Mass, there will be an opportunity for all to venerate the 1st class Relic of St. Faustina.
