Fáilte Pope Francis!
The Irish Catholic are running a competition inviting children from 6-9 to write a letter of welcome to Pope Francis accompanied by a drawing. This is obviously in preparation for the visit of Pope Francis, who, we hope will come to Ireland as part of the World Meeting of Families in August next year.
It would be great to see our schools participate in this competition and if you would like to scan and send us the best entrants from your school we could set up an area on the website to display them as part of our own preparation for WMOF 2018.
Maeve will be in touch in the coming weeks with some more information about the World Meeting of Families and how schools might get involved in preparing for it.
In the meantime please consider entering the Irish Catholic competition and letting us display some of the best entries from our diocesan schools by scanning and emailing them to [email protected] .
