Great celebration in the College Chapel Maynooth of the immense contribution of Fr Liam Lawton to sacred music in Ireland and all over the world. I was delighted to present Liam with the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice award on behalf of Pope Leo XIV and on the evening he also got special recognition from GIA in the United States for their collaborative work with Liam on several of his albums.
