Construction began in 1866 and was completed in 1869. The work is in cut limestone. Inside, round granite columns separate the nave from the side aisles. It features stained glass windows of the Annunciation and the Nativity and in the chancel the large stained glass window is of Our Lady, St. Joseph, St. Peter & St. Paul.
