Today Bishop Denis welcomes Fr Ciprian Matei of Bucharest Diocese, Romania to Kildare and Leighlin.
Fr Ciprian was ordained a priest on 27th June 2014 and has served as curate in St Padre Pio Parish in Constanta, Romania. Fr Ciprian has also served as assistant chaplain at Mihail Kogalniceanu military airbase near Constanta and has assisted Nigerian students in Constanta since 2014.
Fr Ciprian will serve as curate in Portlaoise Parish and we extend to him a warm welcome.
