In the context of the Pauline Year, a travelling exhibition has been organized entitled: “On the way to Damascus, the beginning of a new life”.

This photographic exhibition, promoted by the Cultural Project of the Italian Episcopal Conference, shows the places where Paul lived and preached, from Jerusalem to Rome, and highlights the vocation and conversion of the apostle.

It is currently exhibited at the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls with the idea that it be requested by parishes, cultural centers and other organizations. In a matter of days it will be displayed in Jerusalem, Damascus and Antioch.

“We contacted the custodians of the Holy Land in order that they display the exhibition in the most significant places of Saint Paul’s life: Jerusalem, Damascus, and Antioch. Later on it can be taken to every diocese, parish and cultural centre that requests it; for we believe that it is an expressive and simple way to encounter Saint Paul.”
