Best wishes to our three new seminarians, who begin their studies for the priesthood in St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth on 26th August 2007.

This is the second year in a row that we have had three new students. In total we now have seven students in formation.

We pray for them and continue to pray for more companions to join them and explore the challenge of a vocation to the priesthood.

New Students

Our new students are Michael Ward, Kevin Coleman and Benneth Osuagwu.

Michael comes from the Parish of Cooleragh/Staplestown.

Kevin hails from Vicarstown in Stradbally Parish.

Benneth is a native of Nigeria. He has already completed some studies in Rome, where our diocese first made contact with him. For the past year, he was enrolled in Carlow College as a prelude to formally becoming accepted as a seminarian for this diocese.

Our other students are Sean Fitzpatrick, Liam O’Dubh Brion – both now entering second year – Conor Hennessy and Nigel Kerrigan.
