The Solemn Novena in Rathvilly is for the whole family and community, young and old – for those who believe and those who doubt – for those who are rejoicing and those who are struggling – for those who hope and those who despair.
Each person comes to the Novena with their own special intentions ranging from the routine pressures of life to the heartbreaking. Petitions can be placed in special boxes in St. Patrick’s Church, Rathvilly.

At 7.30 p.m. Mass each evening our guest speaker will speak about their work, faith journey and how their faith strengthens them in their lives and their work.

|Friday, 22nd May||Brenda Drumm – Radio Presenter and Communications Officer. She is a cancer survivor and will share her faith story against a back drop of serious illness.|
|Saturday, 23rd May||Alma Walsh – Mother of late Donal Walsh who died of Cancer at 16 years. – “Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation”|
