Last weekend over 150 students and 26 leaders attended the Meitheal further training weekend in Clongowes College, Clane, Co. Kildare.

Meitheal – On-going training

Meitheal is a leadership programme which operates in 19 secondary schools in the Kildare and Leighlin diocese. The students, leaders and others educate each other through leadership, taking action, liturgy, reflection and evaluation which helps to build up strong friendships and respect among the people involved.

During this session the groups told their stories through the form of a river. A lot of effort was put into the preparation for the weekend and through the different workshops and exercises the students demonstrated how far they have come since their training last summer.

Everyone felt it was a worthwhile and enjoyable weekend and it was good to meet up with people and leaders again.
