The fifth Annual Easter Dawn Mass will take place on Easter Sunday Morning 2013 at 6:00am at the summit of Mt. Leinster on the Blackstairs Mountains, south Co. Carlow. This Gathering invites all for this special spiritual ceremony.
Buses will leave Bagenalstown at 4am from outside the Parish Church.
People are encouraged to wrap up well in warm clothing and to bring hot drinks and snacks if necessary.
1) Traffic Management-
Access to Mt. Leinster by car can be gained via Corrabutt Gap (the Myshall side) and at Tom Duff (Borris side) before 4am.
After 4am a 1-way-system will be put in place.
Access may only be gained to Mt. Leinster via Corrabutt Gap for cars.
There will be however a shuttle bus service from car parks on either side up to 6am.
Please co-operate with the direction of stewards on the morning.
Those who would like to get up to the Mass area with elderly, please ensure you come early, as parking space fills up very early.
Summertime begins on Easter Sunday morning, so be sure to put your clocks forward 1 hour on Saturday night, or else you will miss the whole event!!
