Biography

In 1989, Fr. Charles Brown was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of New York by the late Cardinal John O’Connor. Fr. Charles Brown served from 1989 to 1991 as associate pastor of St. Brendan’s Parish in the Bronx, New York City.

After many years working as a close collaborator to Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger at the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Charles Brown was appointed by his former boss, now Pope Benedict XVI as Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland in 2012.
