About the Day
As part of the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress ‘A Place at the Table’ there will be a youth programme for young adults aged 16-25. The programme for the day will include key speakers such as Baroness Nuala O ‘Loan, Rev Peter Mc Verry and Rev John Harris OP. Dublin All-Ireland Footballer Ger Brennan will share his story. There will be a range of workshops for young people to choose from and throughout the day there will be quiet time, prayer, games, catechesis and much more. The day will be a chance for young people across the diocese to come together to share their faith, explore their understanding of Eucharist and its relevance for young people and to discover how they might like to get involved in the Youth Plans for the International Eucharistic Congress being hosted in Dublin this June. The day will run from 9:30am to 7:00pm and although there will be no charge booking is essential. Brochures and online booking for the event are available at www.kandle.ie.
