It’s a long time since people were queuing up for Saturday night confession. Less and less people are availing of the Sacrament and even practising Catholics no longer think of it as an important part of their lives.
Does it have any relevance for people today? Especially coming up to Christmas. Eileen Good spoke with David Halpin, curate of Greystones, Co. Wicklow and asked him whether confession was going out of fashion.
