In an interview with Brenda Drumm on her new radio program ‘Religion Matters’ on KFM, Fr. Sean Maher spoke about this new appointment.

Fr. Sean Maher

Fr. Sean Maher, a priest of Kildare and Leighlin diocese, was ordained on 29 June  1997.

From 1996 to 2001, served in Saint Conleth’s Parish, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, firstly as a deacon and then as a curate.

He has lectured in Sacred Scripture in Saint Patrick’s, Carlow College since 2005.

During this time he has also acted as curate in Rathvilly, the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow.  At present, he is curate in Baltinglass Parish.

The diocese and the team at ‘’ wish Fr. Sean Maher well in his new appointment which begins in January 2011. Félicitations!
