A Mass for the African Catholic Community in Carlow was celebrated on St Brigid’s Day in the Cathedral Parish Centre.
Fr. Peter Uzochukwu celebrated Mass with the African Catholic community of Carlow on Sunday, February 1st in Carlow Cathedral Parish Centre.
Fr. Peter, who comes from Nigeria, is spending this year in the Diocese of Kildare and Leighlin to assist with its outreach to the African Catholic community.
Bishop Jim Moriarty joined in the celebration and expressed the wish that liturgies for the African community will become a regular feature of diocesan life.
