ACCORD is a voluntary Catholic organisation that aims to promote a deeper understanding of Christian marriage and to offer people the means to safeguard and nourish their marriage and family relationships.

ACCORD is aware from our statistics of the considerable increase in the number of people presenting for our counselling service who are experiencing financial difficulties. This is having a detrimental affect on their personal sense of self-worth, their relationships and their family life.

We are offering an opportunity to everyone to attend free workshops which will help to deal with these real issues.

The first week, Monday September 21st will consist of a launch in the Mansion House by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Emer Costello and an address by Bishop William Walsh, President of ACCORD and Ruth Barror, National Director of ACCORD.

This will be followed each Monday, Sep 28th, Oct 5th and Oct 12th. with workshops which will explore ways of dealing with unemployment and its effects on relationships and family life.

We will outline ways to increase self esteem, share information, and discover methods to develop personal skills and shape the future with hope.
