As part of this year’s diocesan Christmas REACH OUT campaign a ‘Liturgy of Hope’ will be celebrated in every church across the diocese on 3rd December at 8pm.

For 2008, our regular Christmas REACH OUT has a special link with the Holy Land.� we have sourced 45,000 gifts of� olive wood Christmas decorations from Bethlehem.

All welcome on Tues 9th Dec to the Standhouse Hotel to hear speakers from Caritas Jerusalem and Trócaire, view crafts from Bethlehem and sample Palestinian food.

Each Christmas, for the past four years, the 56 parishes of Kildare and Leighlin have made a gift available in all their churches for distribution to homes around the diocese and beyond. For the second year running, the Diocese of Kildare & Leighlin will have an exhibition stand at the National Ploughing Championships. The 2007 Championships will�take place from Tuesday 25th to Thursday 27th September in Killeigh Parish, Co. Offaly which is in K&L.
