Seventeen new seminarians are commencing their studies for priesthood studies for Irish dioceses, including two from Kildare & Leighlin.

The Dominican Province of St. Joseph in the USA recently formally accepted 21 men as novices — the province’s largest novitiate class since 1966.  Read about how it came about.

The Poor Clare Monastery, Carlow  invite young women discerning a religious vocation to a Monastic Experience weekend  from July 2nd to July 4th 2010.

The archbishop of New York is urging priests to remember that their vocation is an identity, not simply a career, and thus it must be lived with holiness.
