K&L pilgrimage to WYD 2011 information meetings

Three information meetings on the planned diocesan pilgrimage (for 17-35yr olds) to the 2011 WYD in Madrid which take place in� the diocese in April 2010.

We are now preparing for the next international �World Youth Day� which will be held from 15th -22nd August 2011 in Madrid, Spain.
It is anticipated that we will have a Diocesan group (17-35 yrs) travelling to Madrid for a week to participate in the World Youth Days.
We are holding three Information Meetings about W.Y.D on:
- Sunday 18th April in Newbridge parish at 2.30pm
- Sunday 25th April in Askea Parish at 2.30pm
- Sunday 25th April in Portlaoise Parish at 2.30pm
These meetings will provide an opportunity for young people interested in the trip to find out more details and register their interest in travelling.
World Youth Day is an excellent opportunity for young Catholics worldwide to come together and celebrate the faith they share.� 2011 will be the 26th W.Y.D and the theme will be
�Rooted and Built Up in Jesus Christ, Firm in the Faith�. (Colossians 2:7)

The registration form on this page is for young people travelling from Kildare & Leighlin diocese. You will need to find out from your local Church or Bishop if there is a organised pilgrimage to WYD from Pakistan.
If you look on the official WYD 2011 site you will see that registration is now open. There are different registration options depending on length of stay and country of origin.

You will see that Pakistan is in Group C in regard to fees etc.
Again, you should try and find out if there is a church group travelling from Pakistan and how you can join that.
