A series of resources to help celebrate the Advent season in the home and prayer services for parishes. All available for download.
Advent
Advent (from the Latin word adventus, meaning “coming”) is a season of the Christian church, the period of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus, the period immediately before Christmas.
This year Advent begins on Sunday 29th November 2009.
As we celebrate the season of Advent we hope that these resources will serve as useful tools for parishes and people to enter into the spirit of this season.
